To start riding with your extended range battery pack, you’ll first need to update your board’s software. We recommend updating your board prior to installing your extended range pack.

Part 2: How to Install the Extended Range Battery Pack (Required)

To remove and install a battery pack, you’ll need the 4mm hex key and connector tools that came with your extended range battery. New screws and wing plates are optional.

WARNING: Please use caution when handling and replacing your battery pack. Loose metal objects should be kept away from the battery pack mating connector while the battery pack is being replaced. The battery pack should be replaced in dry environments. Avoid dust, dirt, debris and moisture from coming into contact with the battery terminals while replacing your battery pack.

Part 3: How to Install New Risers on Your Boosted Board (Optional)

We are shipping all extended range packs with slightly taller risers. While installing the taller risers is optional, we recommend that riders over 175 lbs (79 kg) use these risers if you are concerned about ground clearance. To install the taller risers you will need the skate tool, the long truck mounting screws (8), and the truck mounting nuts (8) that came with your extended range battery.

The complete manual included with your extended range battery pack can be found here.

Important Note: Due to shipping regulations, all extended range battery packs ship with 30% charge. Make sure to charge yours before you ride using the charger that shipped with your standard range board.
